I made these quite a long time ago now, however I have only just got them back from the gaming group I had made them for. The group no longer exists and, very kindly, all the stuff I had given them was returned, mainly because it was either that or they would have been thrown away.
Now these models are interesting because it was by making these that had my first inkling that I might be quite good at making terrain. They led me on to making all the other models that you currently see on this Blog.
It was also the beginning of my love affair with making stuff out of rubbish destined for the tip!
All of these four buildings were made from the corners of photocopier boxes, old felt tip pens, cereal packet and PVAconcrete. So here they are in all their glory, if not for these I may never had begun making Warhammer Quest boards, furniture et al.

The Windy Wharfe
I have been working on and off for quite some time on a 3D version of the Windy Wharfe to go alongside the other buildings I made for villages, towns and cities. I thought that I would post a few current pictures just to show how it was going and to show that it often takes me months or even years to complete some designs.
I suppose the thing to remember about me is that I have an awful lot of different projects on the go at the same time and often they get forgotten only to re emerge some time later.

Doorways.
This will not be the roof, have never liked the way it looked, so have altered it.

Beastmen Bases
Earlier this month I talked about re-modelling some movement trays for my Orcs and Beastmen, well have completed the ones I had and will now have to start making some more for the Beastmen.
These ones are grey which I felt went really well with the Beastmen, since they are painted grey while their bases are green.
So my next stage in the process will be to make a whole selection of bases that I can use for the whole army, which is rather large and paint them all deep grey.

Gor with hand and shield.
The PVAconcrete gives both strength and texture when added to the hardboard base and the bamboo skewers.
Bestigor, made from cheap 90's plastic gor with arms repositioned.

Gwendgoth: Witch Elf
Gwendgoth
Battle Level: 2 Atts: 1 Wounds: 12 Gold: 709
Equipment: Hook Blade, Healing Salve
Spells: Death Spasm
Skills; Frenzy, Dodge
Tactical/Background
Gwendgoth tends to be the leader of the group having a better initiative than Faroth. So often she takes the lead when it comes to movement and deciding who initiates combat in what position in any given room. Her biggest drawback is her lack of protection which means that at the moment Faroth is her protector much of the time. Frenzy is a useful skill giving her another attack and the hooked blade she carries gives her an extra 2 wounds when she successfully wounds.
I intend keeping this record updated as often as I can, adding to it as I go along.

Manhole Covers?
Objective markers for 40K or furniture for Necrozone? I think I could use these as either to be honest.
They are made from milk carton lids with some extra bits of card added. Then painted same colour as the Necrozone walls and doors I've made. I have made a couple of console pieces too but not photographed them at the moment.

Lovely New Book
Picked up this rather nice book the other day, its the "newish" 40k rulebook and its making me think about getting the Eldar out of the box and play a game. I gave up playing 40k about 12 years ago now. But these new rules have piqued my interest. Will let you know if/when I play!
A smashing book, colour through out, lots of silky page markers and a lovely quality production, all in an A5 handy size. I look forward to reading it.
Have just noticed that you can actually lob grenades now, nice idea, better than previously. Also like the look of the psychic abilities!
Blackhead Bill: Ogre
Blackhead Bill
Battle Level: 1 Atts: 2 Wounds: 16 Gold: 2469
Equipment: Club, Hell Mace,
Tactical/Background
Blackhead Bill is the muscle of the group and make no mistake, He can also be a complete nightmare however, because he is loud, more often than not, he causes multiple unwanted wandering monsters. Mostly just at the wrong time, this can really muck up the group. However in our last game it didn't happen even once, so will get shed loads next game no doubt. With Bill getting the Hell Mace last game I can see it being kept in his belt until the final objective room, where it could be put to good use, splatting someone.
