Zombicide: A New Passion?

Image result for zombicide

Never played Zombicide before Monday night over at WWarriors, but I have to say that it was a joy to play and a real laugh. Thanks to Shaun, of  The Games Pit, for introducing me to the game. It was quick to pick up and fun to play, love the fact that it is a collaberative game, shades of Warhammer Quest.

I will be purchasing a copy and playing especially with Xmas coming up.

This where I am with the wall and hedges for my local gaming club. spent nearly all day Saturday fiddling with them, probably should have got on with painting them but there you go.

By Sunday night I had just about got them finished, just gotta to stain and varnish them.

Wakefield Warriors: Scenery

On Monday I was given these three boxes and asked if I would put them together and paint them for the Wakefield Warriors. As I am a huge fan of helping the club out, since they have helped me play so much in the last 12 months, I was glad to take on the task.

Will post pictures of the end product before they are delivered. Want them done for next Monday.

The Games Pit

This is an unashamed advert for the Games Pit in Wakefield.
It recently moved into new premises right next to the Trinity Shopping Centre in the middle of the city and has been a mainstay in the promotion of games in the West Yorkshire area.

You can contact and find out more about the Games Pit here on their Blog.

And here for their Facebook page.

They are very strongly linked with The Wakefield Warriors Games Club, further details here.

They stock a wide selection of board games, miniatures and rules from Games Workshop, Mantic and Warlord Games, Fantasy card game Magic the Gathering, paints, storage boxes, craft tools and of course snacks.

There is a painting area at the rear of the shop and more gaming space upstairs.

If you are from the Wakefield area or just visiting, drop into the store and meet the friendly and helpful staff. They are a smashing lot.
