Quest: Bar Staff

I have had these 4 miniatures, from Reaper Bones collection, for about 2 years and finally got round to painting them. They will be inhabitting the Windy Wharf Inn, Helping out Grisbee the Proprietor, in our games of Quest.

Zombicide: A New Passion?

Never played Zombicide before Monday night over at WWarriors, but I have to say that it was a joy to play and a real laugh. Thanks to Shaun, of  The Games Pit, for introducing me to the game. It was quick to pick up and fun to play, love the fact that it is a collaberative game, shades of Warhammer Quest.

I will be purchasing a copy and playing especially with Xmas coming up.

Frostgrave: Cheap Trees

Went to Wyvale Garden Centre today for a coffee and saw these on the Xmas display. They were only £12.50 for 21 trees, loads of different sizes, really useful for Frostgrave, will take them to WWarriors on Monday as am playing Ian. Very good timing :-)

The bases are quite nasty plastic affairs, but will be fine with a bit of care and attention, just not at the moment.

I can feel some special xmas adventures being formulated to take advantage of seasonal feeling :-)

KOW Historical: Spartan 2000 pt Army

I have completed the first 2000 points of Spartans, can see myself having another 1000 in total from all the bits I have, will post pictures when they get finished. Really enjoyed putting these together, may be tempted to buy another 15 mm army if interest picks up at the club.

Mordheim: Building Challenge Pt 5

I can almost hear voices asking, "So what happened to the Mordheim Buildings Darryl?" yeah, almost, but not really. Anyway I finally recovered them from the loft and got the next stage done. Here is where we are at. All the floors are now in and the whole structures are glued to hardboard bases.

Next I want to get some PVAcrete added to secure the base and into some of the walls. There are some beams to be added in places and a few window frames to be constructed then they are at the painting stage.

As I predicted these are going rather slowly although that is not always a bad thing.

KOW: Elf Army 2000 points

Here is the completed Kings of War Elf army I will be playing with at the club for the next few weeks until I am used to it. I have had 2 games so far and it seems to be going OK.
