Zombicide: Seige, C2

This was another scenario from the Zombicide missions on their website,in this Siege mission the players had to survive in the dentists, with all the doors open and 5 spawning points for zombies to emerge from, we also all started the game with 7 exp, just 1 point before the yellow zone.

The unusual bit about this scenario is that the zombie deck is only used once. When a card is discarded it is gone and the deck is not recycled as usual. Also the cards that give the various zombie types an extra move were all removed from the deck. It was a basic straight up fight.

Amy picks up her only wound of the game. Then finds a chainsaw and goes on a rampage.

Runners not sure where to run by the looks of things :-)

Josh took out the only Fatty we had on the board, on his last attack with a fire axe to the head, a bit nail biting.

The runners give us a little trouble, but not much. Ned spend quite some time plugging away with his shotguns, whittling down the zombies at the top of the board, hence his high kill score.

Amy having fun with her chainsaw.

The last 2 zombies are shot by Wanda with her sawed off shot gun.

The end of the game, all the players survived, only Amy being wounded.

Ned wracked up the most kills.

Great game, but have to say we breezed through the whole affair, if we were playing this scenario again I would make it more difficult, perhaps put the 4 cards back in, or cycle through the deck twice, but not both!

KOW: Night-Stalker Phantoms and Horror

About 2 weeks ago I started doing a really bad thing. I started making a Night-Stalker army for KOW. They are based on an idea I got when I made some demons for Frostgrave.

This army is going to have cost me nothing to make at all, apart from time.

Regiment above, troop below.

Its made from cork, card and wire, topped off with hot glue and then painted.

Here is the Horror, created in exactly the same way as the Phantoms.

In the next few days, I will be posting more of the 2000 pt army.

D&D: Manny the Monk

He was created to be my new D&D 5e first level character that we started playing with few weeks ago.
I will post more about his stats and background in another post, today I'll just show the miniature itself.
Manny Ram is a conglomeration of GW models, part High Elf, Wood Elf and a fair bit of GS to pull it all together. His pet rat is made from GS, first rat I have modeled.

I was trying to get the idea that he gets two attacks each turn, one is a bonus action.

Sweep with spear and punch combo.

Wood elf head, torso and legs with High elf arms and spear, tied together with GS, like the rat and backpack.

I am also going to use him as my Heritor in Ghost as well. You will have seen this model in bits and pieces, mainly on board the Wicked Wendy ship I made for Ghost Archipelago.

Ghost Archipelago: Pyramid

It may seem that I have posted quite a few large builds recently all in a rush, but they have all been on the go at pretty much the same time and in the last week they have all been completed. After this pyramid there is one last building to complete but that may well be some way off as its the largest of them all and for Frostgrave.

Anyway here is the pyramid I began working on a month or two ago all completed and ready to go.

It is basically three boxes made from packing box card glued together, with an archway added to the top, this was made from a template I made from my Quest set, see here.

Again my Heritor and Warden make a fleeting appearance for scale purposes.

Lots of PVAcrete added.
