KOW: Bear with me...

Here is the last big model I will be making for a while, although I do own another brown bear that I could alter, but not yet.

I think he looks a bit lost and forlorn, or perhaps I'm just remembering London Zoo, the poor polar bear walking himself into madness.

He will be my Greater Earth Elemental in the KOW Dwarf army.

That's better, he's almost smiling.

I took Michael's/Serefina's suggestion and gave the bears a lick of stain to remove their whiteness!

I thought I would shoot all three of these as they go together well and have some similarities.
The Greater Earth Daemon is 160 pts but rather nasty.

The Steel Behemoth is very scary too and comes in at 250 pts. So these two units take me to within spitting distance of 2500 pts and my aim is to get to 3000. If I can do that then I will not have any more models left.

I have enough Dwarfs for 20 Ironguard, 40 Bulwarkers and 10 Brock riders, that should take me too 3000 pts ish.

ClashOTF: 10 mm versions of Five Parsecs Crew

Off and on now for a week I have been sculpting my Five Parsecs crew of the SS Suliman in 10 mm so that I can use them in more than one genre. Here are the green versions of the miniatures and I will be creating a crew sheet with all their ClashOTF stats.

I think the Halo Jobes version is a bit wide in the middle, may well have to take a file to her today.

I still have hands and shoulders to sculpt as well as some details on weapons etc, but I find that the arms are thin and have to cure fully before you can add to them. So these got left over night.
(sorry about huge dog hair)

Still finding heads very difficult and because I have not sculpted in 10 mm for a while I have got out of the habit. Not good. Will practise more.

KOW: Dwarf Steel Behemoth

Unable to stop myself adding my Dwarf  Kings of War Army, I've re-organised a model I made for Quest, chaos dwarfs ages ago. I realised that I would never be able to use such a large model in Quest, I mean it hardly fitted into any of the rooms.

So rather than it languishing in a box I've dragged it out to add to the Dwarfs, it will definitely get used as its so nasty. Expect to see it in my 3000 point army.

KOW Film: Herd V Empire of Dust 2

The now semi-legendary retired inebriate mage, stumbles his way through yet another Kings of War battle report.

Orctober: Gromulus and Gremus

This is my contribution to Orctober, small as it is. I don't think I have any other Orc models to paint, not for fantasy anyway.

Gromulus on his overly large chariot.

Gremus on foot with magic axe.

The gruesome pair together.

Although difficult to see Gromulus does have a huge stomach, the chariot hides it nicely.

KOW: Aerocopters and Aerobombers

I have been looking into how I can include my Areocopters into the dwarf army and feel that I may have found a solution. Its based on the initial ideas posted by Hellebore over on the Mantic Blog, so much appreciated Hellebore.

KOW: Dwarf Army so far....

This is my 2000 point KOW army up to present.

I do intend expanding them to 3000 points, adding another unit of Earth Elementals, a Greater Earth Elemental, another huge polar bear. Some Ironguard, Brock Riders, a steel Bohemoth and some way of fitting my 2 Gyrocopters in.
