Buildings in 10 mm: Frostgrave and Warmaster

This is another small set of buildings I intend using in my 10 mm version of Frostgrave. These are different from the first set in that they are more obviously medieval and featuring lots of timber work made from matchsticks.

I  intend mixing these in with the other models, they give me the opportunity to create sets or groups of terrain that expand variety and keep games from looking too repetitive and boring.

A few close ups to give a little more incite into how they were made and painted. The only materials I used here that are different from before are the tapers for floorboards and matchsticks for timber sections.

I think these will work well for both Frostgrave and Warmaster, either fantasy or historical.
I am currently working on some rocky outcrops and an Orc or Viking village.
Future projects will include some complete buildings which I think will come in handy for D&D city encounters.

Dwarf Army 3 mm

This is my 3 mm Dwarf army, not easy I know to see the difference between the armies I've made at this scale, but there is usually one unifying colour which gives some clues and in the case of the Dwarves its Green, on shields, banners and anywhere else I can get it.

The largest block is the Dwarf Shieldwall, at 7 companies its the largest body of troops.

Here we have 4 companies of Dwarf Rangers, not in the official Fantastic Battles force list, and behind them the first unit of berserkers I've made only recently, three more will be made eventually.

The right flank of the army.

Left flank...who would have guessed.

Ballistae and Catapult companies, some on each flank.

Crossbows, 4 companies, in foreground probably one of the company types I'm least happy with how I modelled them but....
Behind more Ordnance companies.

Character miniature companies, Jarls, Rune Caster and Oath Breaker.

5 characters
4 Ballistae
4 Catapult
4 Crossbows
4 Huscarls
7 Shieldwall
1 Berserker
4 Rangers

Close up of the Huscarls with double handed axes.

Few close ups.

Dwarf King mounted on a giant bear.

Intending building another three units of these Berserkers, no Dwarf army is complete without them.

Basic Shieldwall company.

Sometime soon I'm hoping to start building bear riders, initially 4 companies and along with the Berserkers should give the Dwarves some bite. Also need to build one more company of Shieldwall to bring their number to 8.
