Very small update on the cottage really, have managed to work on the top of the chimney to give it a more rustic feel. I made the slates from pieces of plaster which had mixed up for another job. It was thin and looked like it could be used as stone slates. Only time will tell how robust it is.
They are held in place with PVAcrete.
Am thinking now that the chimney might be too tall, oh well :-)
Pots are beads from the Range, very cheap, will see how they paint up :-)
